Dr. Enrique Acosta Oruña was born in San Juan, PR. During his undergraduate studies at Universidad de Puerto Rico at Rio Piedras he picked up his interest in medical sciences. He began medical school at Universidad Central del Caribe at Bayamon, PR and completed his medical degree in 2015. After this, he chose to specialize in Internal Medicine, where he completed residency in 2018 at the VA Caribbean Healthcare System in San Juan, PR. He finished his medical training with a subspecialty in Nephrology & Hypertension at Methodist Health System in Dallas, TX.
